i mean normally i wouldnt have an issue with this kind of catch weight, i mean no belts on the line, both guys meet half way past their division limits. it makes sense. but porter is a big dude. i just dont see him making these weights.

Thurman-Porter makes much more sense, this fight is kind of bizarre since nobody was really asking for it (although it's a good fight) and then you add the catchweight to boot when Porter barely makes the WW limit. Broner is going to finally fight somebody dangerous since getting spanked by Maidana, but the CW sort of cheapens it. Oh well, no excuses if Porter signs the contract and thinks it won't be a problem.
