thank god for fighters like canelo

it was so god damn refreshing to sit and watch an entertaining fight for a change two warriors going at it gets the blood flowing its exciting for boxing fans , Ive sat through fights like last week with my 18 yr old son and 80 year old dad both boxing fans and we just feel numb watching a mayweather fight its a sad experience that just leaves you in a negative mood , but watching canelo fight we were all entertained and excited **** mayweathers style of so called fighting give me the ****ing warriors anyday micky ward auturo gatti mike Tyson canelo ggg , I will take that all day over runners , it cant be all about just winning can it ? surely that's a case for earning the big money they get paid for and entertaining fans ?

Good fight don't get me wrong I just struggled to get hyped and thought it was nothing but a one sided beatdown.

A 3 round highly predictable mismatch.

That wasn't a display of boxing, that was basically a useless bar fight that really had no purpose. Think about, was Kirkland even ranked? Is that even a win that you'd consider worthy of upping Canelo on the P4P scale? Not at all. At no point did anyone believe Kirkland had it in him to beat Canelo. And he really surprised me, Canelo showed a decent amount of defense in his last couple of fights but in this fight he was a sitting duck. I mean Kirkland's shots aren't telegraphed well and they still landed on that boy's face. Canelo's defense consisted of sitting on the ropes and use his high guard. Horrible fight.

Floyd uses ropes "OMG TBE he just letting Meidena get tired"

Anybody else uses ropes- "WOW terrible fight, no skills SMH"

Well it was. Canelo is hardly what I'd call an exciting fighter. He was only exciting because Kirkland sucks so much and blocks every single punch with his face.
He was boring as hell against Floyd, Trout, Lara, Rhodes, Matty Hatton & so on but each to their own.
