Thank GOD for ****** Fighters with Weak Chins like Kirkland as well. Styles Make Fights!

      Give me #1 vs #2 over #2 vs #53

Respect to Canelo but Calm the *** DOWN with the Re-Hyping Of Canelo he Fought Kirkland!

If he does that to Cotto then I'm Very Impressed and I will to him 100% yes I expect him to beat Cotto but if he dominates him regardless of Cotto being Older, that would be Impressive for a young fighter

It was an exciting three rounds and Canelo matched with the right opponents can be exciting to watch like most Mexican fighters. But I'm sorry I have to disagree with the Ward Gatti mention, those guys fighting each other while entertaining was like watching two human punching bags go at it.

In total agreement here. Duran was the master who could make you miss while on the inside without running away like a girl. I don't think the so-called purists know anymore about boxing than casual fans do either. All they ever claim is that the casual fans don't see the mastery of scientific boxing but they never offer specifics. I think they just like to belong to some elitist club to way "Ha. We get it and you don't." If they knew anything, they would show more appreciation for a technical master like Roberto Duran who would beat anybody out there these days and the old days. What is sad to me is that this sport(including many of its fans) shoot themselves in the foot all the time, making more demands of the fans(customers) who pay for these fights. What ever happened to the customer is always right? And besides, you don't draw fans into the sport with boring track meets. You draw them in with fights like this along with Gatti-Ward, Trinidad-Vargas, Duran- Barkley, Chacon-Limon and so on. But good luck telling these elitist, boxing purists on here. They refuse to admit that the majority of people want a fight- not a dance.

It's all about the fights, We're fans first. and it should stay that way.

Fighters fight for our entertainment. It's all it is,boxing is a sport created for entertainment, just like the Romans in the Colosseum spilled blood to hear the crowd roar.

It's that simple, All sports were created for entertainment.

If a fighter does not entertain, then he has no value to the paying costumer.

As far as i see it, If I'm paying for a boxing match, i better be paying to see their fist move for the sports intended purpose, if i wanted see someone run around , i would pay for a track meet, or soccer. But this is boxing, they have gloves for a reason, we pay for athletes that are primarily trained to throw punches.

I don't mind you being defensive,But we tune in for you to throw punches. Or is that too much for a fan ask of a Boxer? seriously

The thing is he fights anyone. It not like hes fights bums for a living. The dude resume is freaking impressive for 24 years of age. He makes for an exciting style to hate us fans for that

Huge Canelo fan but it was Kirkland so calm down. If you are on here you know the sport...somewhat at least, so dont embarrass yourself by saying Kirkland was a beast

A lot of people were saying this is what boxing needed after the disappointment of May-Pac and I agree, but at the same time I wasn't massively impressed with Alvarez. I think Cotto beats him.
