What I see from Canelo in camp is all about comfort and if you are in your comfort zone you aren't pushing yourself, if you aren't pushing yourself you are stagnating, if you are stagnating you are getting worse because there is no staying the same.

I just see Canelo as too much the boss in his camp.

i dont think so. i mean canelo is what he is and honestly his trainers have formed a killer out of a one dimensional fighter. I think the whole fighter needs a new trainer thing is thrown around to easily

you guys talk far too idly about jumping trainers. you clearly don't understand what that involves.

reynoso has been training canelo since he was a boy.

canelo lost to floyd freaking mayweather. he was drained of weight 2 lbs 2 boot.

no trainer was going to cut canelo's legs off and sew on muhammad ali's...

i don't need to wait two years to know that canelo is a hell of a fighter, and a rich, successful man.

why would you get rid of the guy who taught you how to fight after losing to floyd mayweather, and otherwise being hte best fighter on the planet 24 or under?

canelo is in a great spot. his trainers have done a great job with him. he's a heck of a fighter. why on earth would you want to change trainers?

I never talk about idly jumping trainers. Canelo is a very specific case.

There comes a point when a fish outgrows the hatchery and it has to go out in the wild.

Do you not see the issues beyond his heavy feet, he is a good boxer (like really good for having such heavy feet) but I haven't seen an ounce of improvement from him in years.

If you aren't getting better you are getting worse. So if a guy is stagnate even if they are still solid they should (but never do) change direction before the situation gets more dire. Everyday those sorts of things become more ingrained in him.

Canelo is a very good fighter, I never said he wasn't. The question was does he need a new trainer, a trainer is about improvement and I haven't seen that in Canelo at all.

If you aren't improving you may have reached your ceiling overall, but you can't tell that leaving stones unturned. I don't think Canelo is anywhere near as good as he could be.

You can think that, but Canelo is in his early 20's he should be getting better no matter what.

I think your crazy if you think Canelo is reaching his potential in this situation, but that is not an answer we will have anytime soon.

You know this how? So you are telling everyone that because you saw some tiny snippet of what Canelo is doing in his media workouts, that he's not being pushed?

Man, I'm telling you the embarrassingly obvious ******ity in this place never ceases to amaze me. You do realize that you aren't there at 5 am when he's running 8 miles per day. When he's working in the gym 6 days a week, both strength and conditioning, boxing workouts and sparring...

Fans see some 24/7 show about a fighter, and they think they have an insight to what happens in a real boxing gym, 6 days a week. Canelo works hard, you don't win 41 fights against the best jr welters in the world and not train hard.

He has also clearly improved from when he was just 22. His defense is better, his movement is much better and we know the kid can crack.

It's feast or famine in this place. 99% of boxing fans = you are 1 a bum or 2 the best ever. There is absolutely nothing in between.
