I admit its not the greatest fight and I pick GGG to win but its 2 world champions/proven veterans with strong amateur pedigrees in the prime of their careers. They are only separated by 6 pounds.

Get the damn thing done. They both need fights and are wasting their primes on guys like Delvin Rodriguez and Willie Monroe Jr.

Floyd has not vacated his titles yet, and even when he does it will be up to Lara to win one of them. GGG holds the WBA title, a championship belt recognized by everyone in the sport as a valid world title. Golovkin is also recognized by every boxing writer and knowledgeable fan as the REAL middleweight champion of the world.

As for Cotto, let's see what he can do against a fighter Golovkin destroyed in three rounds.

Haymon is not preserving Lara. He has nobody for him to fight. I like both fighters and want to see a good technical fight between two contrasting styles. You on the other hand, are happy with GGG waiting for a Cotto fight which he will never get, waiting 2 years for Oscar to put Canelo in there with him and in the meantime getting aroused from highlight KOs over Boxcino champions.

And all this talk about Lara running, have you seen Willie Monroe fight before?
