Pacquaio can take a book out of Kirklands book.

No excuses at all from Kirkland, thanked Canelo for the opportunity and said he was too skilful and experienced. No excuses about not having Ann Wolfe in his corner or any injuries. War Kirkland

This is how I know #48 was fuming and upset after losing.

He's mentioned God or Jesus in every single one of his prior fights during the post fight interview. But for the Mayweather fight? Nope, he went straight to the excuses. No getting religious there.

Kirkland was straight forward about it, anyone who loses clearly could take a page out of that book.

Don't make excuses and try to fool people into a rematch, just tell it like it is.

Kirkland could've made some legit excuses, Ann Wolfe literally MADE his career and he was without her, he's been out of the ring against top opposition for a very long time etc etc. NO EXCUSES.

Pacquaio lost the fight pretty clearly too, except he started making excuses about his shoulder injury and how Floyd just ran. Prefight he spoke about being ready for this moment and having 3 different gameplans if Floyd came to fight, hold, or run

If Manny took a book out of Kirkland's book, then it would be rude because Kirkland wouldn't have any book left

Seriously tho, yeah, props to Kirk how he handled things.

Being classy and not making excuses is always the way to go.

Kirkland was hit by bombs knocked down twice and brutally KOed when it looked like he was possibly seriously hurt.

Pacquiao was not hit with hard punches. Many of Mayweather's punches appeared to hit his gloves or miss. He was not damaged and on the second viewing of the fight, I am even more dubious of calling that a clear Mayweather win. There is a vast difference between those fights.
