Interesting post. I wouldnt be surprised to see Pac-May II exclusively with HBO for Floyds 50st and last fight.

Business it makes sense. Arum, Pac and HBO will push with the brainwashing that Pac was badly hurt and that he would have koed Floyd if healthy. Casual fans and Pac fans lunatics will all fall for it. Two or three montages and ad highlights of Pac koing Rios all the casual fans will want to see it again thinking that Pac can beat Floyd.

Floyd in the meantime will have high leverage to deal a huge one fight contract with hbo for 100+ millions dollar, and at this point he knows he can beat Pac easily and get another huge pay day graciously offered by his haters who will pay big bucks hoping to see him lose and then he will get out under the sunset.

HBO will make millions, Pac and FLoyd will make millions. Floyd will retire 50-0-0, haters will say Floyd beat a fighter who just went under surgery so it means nothing, etc... But at the end of the day it's business and people will make money, including Max, lol

A lot of fighters don't check of injured when they go in not 100 percent, Floyd and Oscar were both given pain killers before fights and they were never injured. Why didn't they give Pac the shot? this is whats fishy to me. NSAC let a injured man in the ring, its the responsibility of the NSAC to cancel a fight for fighters safety.

I remember there was a fight where a UFC fighter said he hurt his arm an hour before the fight and he was scrapped from the card. NSAC should have either canceled the fight or gave the legal pain killers before.

They let the fight go on for money and let a man in with a disadvantage going in and injury, if they gave Pac his pain killers and let the fight go on than they would have a leg to stand on in the lawsuit, now they are equally at fault and canceled out their suit toward pac.

They should have just gave him the shot, after the fight they could have filed the lawsuit that he lied on his contract. Now they are trying to cover their tracks.
You're aware that Pac checked no when asked if his shoulder was injured right ?!

its not even about the rematch anymore they know the way to make money off of pac is to get his fans to believe he would have beat mayweather and now mayweather is scared. they know if hey do that then manny is still a big ppv star otherwsie he wont be. i mean were talking about a guy who used mayweather to sell himself for 6 years under the false premise that floyd was scared and it worked and honestly i would not be surprised if it works again til pac retires. they will continue to talk about floyd and a rematch and now hes healthy and has his killer instinct back and bla bla bla bla bloa bla bla

I'm sure someone will post the link but seriously Max normally is the most level headed on HBO but This is the first time I honestly can say I think ... That's over with. Max has compromised the only thing that made him a decent analyst...

Max says what he wants, and thats the general consensus, except boxing forums where fan specific idiots get to voice their opinion.

ANyways good job on Pacquiao, put a * on his resume.

You didn't even read the post.
I know that, I am talking about NSAC responsibility read it carefully, many fighters dont check injured and receive pain killers before fights.

If Pacs team admit he was injured two hours before the fight its the NSAC commission responsibility to cancel the fight or give the pain meds, they opted not to give him the shot and let an injured fighter in the ring.

If they gave Pac the pain killers and let the fight go on, than its all on Pac and his team, but them knowing that Pac was injured two hours before the fight and still letting him in the ring and without pain killers makes their case iffy and cancels it out.

Seems the NSAC boss didn't want to get blamed if the pulled the fight two hours before, so he should have just gave the pain shot and dealt with team pacquiao later.

So morally and ethically he has blame on his shoulders as well. The responsibility of a commission is to look out for the fighters no matter what. I guarantee Larry Hazard would not allow a fighter to go in no matter how big the fight was.

HBO will probably offer Floyd the same amount of money to rematch Pacquaio as he made for his entire six-fight contract with Showtime. If I were Floyd, that is probably what it would take for me to fight again on HBO.

Also, after Floyd's contract runs out with Showtime, HBO execs will suddenly change their minds about doing business with Al Haymon. They will give Haymon whatever he wants while literally begging him to talk to Floyd about doing a rematch with Pacquaio.

This is pretty much the way I see it too. The leverage that Floyd will have after his 49th will be insane imo. Dont be fooled by Floyd saying his last fight is in september. Floyd will go for 50-0-0 in May 2016 for an enormous payday.
