An MRI taken before the fight revealed to Team Pacquiao (led by Freddie Roach) the severe tear on the (rotator cuff muscle) right shoulder of the Filipino. Pacquiao, a southpaw (left hander) utilizes the right hand to jab and throw hooks, a punch that requires the shoulder to throw an arching roundhouse (sort of) punch.

LEFT TWO OF THREE WEAPONS IN LOS ANGELES
Normally, Manny Pacquiao throws double, sometimes triple jabs. His right jab, even if used to set up a left cross or gauge distance, is something Pac did not have. The right hooks that he utilized with skill and power prior were not part of Manny’s arsenal Saturday night.

This is my beef with Pacquiao. If the injury legit (which i dont think it is) why tell the world AFTER you loss? ..Arum said this is an old issue hes been fighting with since 2008.. they claimed something happened three weeks before the fight during sparring. Thing is, we see video of Manny looking lighting quick and amazing just days before.
Then they claimed they went into the fight injured. Then its oh no, the pain started in round 4. Thing is, there is absolutely no change in Mannys approach from round 5 on, he was still shooting power right hooks and combos.
There was absolutely nothing I can visibly detect in Pacquiao that said something was wrong with him. This "injury" was never mentioned in between rounds and his corner never pays special attention to his right shoulder.
But like i said, if it was legit, why tell the world after you loss. Would we ever know of this "injury" had Manny won the decision? why not have your little surgery in secret, handle it behind closed doors, dont post pictures online wearing a sling looking for sympathy. They never told fans anything before the fight, so don't tell us anything afterwards.
There is no other way to slice this but a cowardly attempt at requesting a rematch and as a way to not give credit to your opponent who beat you.
This was a punk , b-tch made move by Pacquiao. He could've stuck to the whole "i think i won" script, that's more honorable. Not the "i only had one arm" script. He deserves all the insults coming his way from fans and Mayweather. And I hope a rematch is never granted.
The only way his groupie fans would understand is if they just imagine Mayweather was the one claiming shoulder injury after a loss. They would crucify him, not see him as a brave warrior that fought hurt. Hell, these same people booed and clowned Bradley for revealing his calf injury and being on a wheelchair, they called these excuses. Well there's no difference here.

ONE HAND/WEAPON
All Manny had at 100 % was the left cross. Do you think celeb Mark Wahlberg, who bet $250,000 on Manny Pacquiao with Sean Combs , do you think he would have wagered a quarter of a million dollars if he’d known of Pacquiao’s severely torn Rotator Cuff muscle?

I could easily argue the shoulder injury made a difference, but I don't believe it to be true, that's my opinion on it.
It's possible, but it's also possible he re-aggravates it. Negotiations for this fight were amongst the most acrimonious in boxing history, I think in that position and factoring in that he felt it had improved, he really had to take the fight.Originally posted by Weebler I View PostI just posted that the fight was already in jeopardy and Moonves had to be called in to save it at the last minute. This wasn't a rock solid agreement, it was all tenuous and you can be sure there was no provision for September.
It took Pacquiao 6 years to get Mayweather in the ring, if he delayed it that could have been it. There are no parallels with the Marquez fight which Floyd himself chose as his comeback fight from retirement.
In any event, Pacquiao needed surgery and 4-6 months to heal.
Last time I checked, #48 was the only one ****** enough to walk away from multi millions to not fight someone, and that someone was Mayweather. I don't for a second believe that Money would have used this as an excuse to back out from that much money and anybody who does is simply just a fkn block head. Damn Pac fans and MANY (NOT ALL) Britts on this site cannot be taken seriously. Some of y'all are just straight full of shat.

During those prayer sessions leading up to the fight, wasn’t it clear that his not fighting at 100 % would be catastrophic to his image as a bible toting man of honesty? Manny simply didn’t care. The money was far more important. Pacquiao sold out screwed the Filipino people and his fans.

Manny also steals the credit that Mayweather deserves for winning the fight. Mayweather did his job, Manny lied and did not do his job, he perpetuated a fraud.
Hope he loses the multiple lawsuits.

Has Pacquiao ever looked this mentally zapped before?
He was perfectly fine! But, because he was completely embarrassed by Mayweather, suddenly an injury comes out. Suddenly he hurt his shoulder in the 4th round, then it was an injury from 2 weeks ago.
Then when it seems like NSAC is going to come down on Pacquiao for not disclosing the injury, Bob Arum comes to the rescue and say it was an old injury from 6 years ago, and was simply re-aggrevated during the fight. A day later we see pictures of Pacquiao, after surgery.
It's all spin. In the same way the Pacquiao team managed to spin the drug testing. Only 3 times, 30 day cut off, 24, 14, etc etc. Then it became Pacquiao never refused etc etc.
