Ward has been very inactive but he was the rightful WBA champion. Froch was nothing but a paper champion - cf. the Rigondeaux - Quigg situation. Andre Ward is the super middleweight king anyway.

The consistency level is silly. Froch hasn't fought in a year, so i can see their stance.
But Ward hasn't fought since Nov 2013 and has even been permitted to not defend the title against Smith.
