For Froch, the pressure of not having to face a mandatory, and going for a big money fight is a plus. Its not as if he needs a belt to pack a stadium and get on PPV.
no-one with a pulse will fight Ward unless he has a belt, although i still think Froch is tempted to give it another shot if the finances are right.

For my part, I don't care about the title, just the WBA's lack of consistency. They stripped Froch for lack of defenses but allowed Ward to keep his, it makes no sense.

Froch is stripped despite fighting more recently, yet Ward gets a special permit and holds onto his title.

I don't really get the WBA's logic on this. The funny thing is, Ward's fight isn't even at 168lbs.

Froch would definitely hang them up... There is no way that he would fight Ward in Oakland for peanuts...
