Any boxer out there who came back from rotator cuff surgery? I'm pessimistic about this. For a boxer this injury might be career ending especially for a 38 year old. I don't think he'll be able regain the strength of his limb like it was pre surgery. Next time they fight he'll look every inch like an old fighter. I'm guessing it's Game Over for Pacman.

So he decided after his most embarrassing loss to have surgery on a 6 year old injury? Ready made excuse.

“He's got to do [the surgery],” Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum said. “He hurt it after the [2008 Oscar] De La Hoya fight [in a Jet Ski mishap], and it got better.”

Manny Pacquiao will undergo surgery on his right shoulder later this week in Los Angeles, his manager told The Times following the boxer's medical examination Monday.

Man. We all should have known that with the drama leading up to the fight that the post fight drama is turning out to the real fight of the century. This just keeps getting more whacked all the time.

Unfortunately you might be right. Obviously they are going to sound optimistic if theres any hope it will work out, but they know it might not. Time will tell on this one. Fingers crossed that Pac returns to fighting condition.

We live in this social media age and we didn't get not ONE Vine or one Instagram post of the surgery as it happened?

This is just bogus man, especially considering Manny took a selfie as he walked to the ring.

Yes they prepared the excuse months ago. The injury is from early 2009 and now they decide to have surgery on it.

I really think there ought to be an addendum to the original post so that we don't keep getting "LOL 4-6 MONTHS NOW WHATS THIS ALL ABOUT" posts that we have to derail.
