"If all goes as expected with the surgery and the rehab is successful, Manny could be back training in about six months. At that point, he will be regaining strength and endurance, and competition is reasonable within nine months to a year. But this is a severe enough tear that it won't heal without being repaired." - ElAttrache

Huaaa why are there two ranges I can't comprehend that many numbers.

    hilarious.
As you can see in the post of mine I quoted, both of those ranges are still in play and represent two different stages of recovery. He still won't be ready to fight for 9-12 months so no he won't be fighting in September.

Surgeon Neal ElAttrache said he “could not be more pleased with the results” and fully expects Pacquiao to make a full recovery. ***8203;No timetable was provided, but ElAttrache told ESPN.com he expected Pacquiao to be out nine to 12 months.

The injury has been confirmed by one of the worlds leading surgeons, so give it up. Its real, whether it affected the fight is another story, but looking at Floyd v Castillo 1 and 2 a shoulder injury can make a big difference.

I'm just happy that Pacquiao will be fully 100%. I wish him full recovery.

The rematch will happen but I do not think Pacquiao will be ready in mid September when Floyd fights next. Pacquiao will have to wait until May 2016.

And NO!!! Mayweather will not re-schedule for anyone, it will be on May 2016 in Las Vegas in the MGM with USADA and no horse hair gloves. 80%-20% or better offer 75%-25% split. Take it or leave it.
And what exactly are you going to look for on an MRI ?

Rofl well put man. No one wants to believe it can make a difference. The only way these guys would believe this injury is if the dude threw 0 punches.

a Prognosis often changes during the surgery, once they go in it can be better or worse than it looked on the scan. You'd think some of the people on here have never followed sports before in the lives.

To be clear though, in this case nothing has changed.

or they are just playing dumb about how bad manny looked and and trying to depict this as an amazing epic victory, the way cotto fans played dumb about martinez

not that I'm defending the actions of Pacquaio/Sergio. They got what they deserved for faking their health for a paycheck; humiliating losses.
