I sprained my rotator cuff earlier this year – just a sprain – and it was horrible. Couldn't move the arm by an inch for about a week, let alone lift it up to chest level. Took about a month for it to fully return to normal. Even a broken foot didn't feel as bad.

Obviously I got off lightly. If it was a tear, I dread to even think...

I havent but I know 3 people who have and they all said it was painful to even lift their arm

I believe there was a tear, but Pacquiao had his hands up for 8 rounds, didnt show any discomfort between rounds or when he lifted his arms at the end of the fight, and was still using his right hand on occasion

He would have been dragging his arm or showing SOME signs of discomfort but he wasnt. he showed no signs of having an injury to the naked eye

If Pacquiao had a tear which got re-aggravated during the fight, there's no way he would've made it to round 12 with his hands held still up, let alone holding his arms up many times after the fight was over. Even a twinge to the rotator cuff is debilitating.

Yet... He did all the above without even grimacing, so someone has to call bullshit if he's claiming a "tear".

I had a torn rotator cuff. I had to wear a sling on my arm for six weeks after the surgery. The doctor told me that I couldn't lift anything over 10 pounds for six months after the surgery. Even after six months, I was still struggling to regain motion in my arm. That is how I know that it will take Pac at least a year before he can fight again if he has the surgery.

On another note, I don't think there is any way in hell a trainer would talk as much s...t as Roach talked if he knew that his fighter was going into the ring with a serious injury that would hamper his ability to be competitive in the fight. If Pac really was injured, Roach would have been more subdued in his comments in the last few weeks -- just like Mayweather.

That is why I say this alleged rotator cuff injury is a lie and Pacquaio will be back in the ring later this year. At worst, he will be back in the ring in February or March of next year so that his team can give people the false impression that it took him that much time to recover from surgery.

Yeah, The more I hear from other people who have suffered a tear or a sprain, Its really, really hard to believe Pacquiao would be able to hold his hands up for 8 rounds without showing any discomfort at all. He also wouldnt be able to transition from defense to offense as smoothly as he was..

I hope they investigate all this, Im just doubting how serious the injury really was
