What does taking a punch have to do with it....when your defense, skill level, and ring generalship is so inferior in Golota's case? He's not a fraction of the fighter Wlad is.....and he never was.

Even when he wailed away on a fat Rid**** Bowe and then threw the fight himself....he ******. Wlad would demolish him in five rounds flat. Golota is not one of the greatest Amateur heavyweights this era, an olympic gold medalist, and generally regarded as the most gifted + skilled heavyweight.

i think the point is more like andrew golota didnt give a **** if he won or lost he was there to get beat, wladamir was fighting to recapture a world title he had lost and was kicking the crap out of brewster.

the fact that andrew golota is don kings whipping boy and lamon brewster is don kings champion is much more important than the alleged skill level of the big pushover.

after brewster wins he should call out the winner of wlad/byrd immediately, if he really wants the fight then he should take the initiative bwing in that he has the earlier fight. dont you think so?
