Lets hope Chris tries to play chess with Wlad.

    That's checkmate.

....Sounds to me like Wlad is kind of planning to seriously go for the knockout. I think he wants to be impresive and not just get a win.

klitschko should be as confident as a boxer could ever be going into this fight. he completely dominated the first fight against what was ultimately a younger and better chris byrd.

the thing is how impressive or on the the uther hand unimpressive will wlad be in this fight. wlad has the skill and boxing ability to make this a boring 12 round decision victory if he doesent let his hands go.

i think fans and i think wlad himself is looking to come out and knock byrd out in impressive fashion, he is not the type to come out and make bold preditions or disrespect his opponent in any way but the tone of his confidence for this fight seems to exceed that of any in a long time.

if may even be that this is a put up shut up challenge that wlad has given to himself. if he is unable to let his punches go and knock out byrd he may decide that we will never reach his full potential and retire. he has to know its not worth fighting lamon brewster again if hes not willing to set his feet and dish it out.

Wlad will find a way to get stomped again

he found a way vs. Purritty

he found a way vs. Sanders

he found a way vs. Brewster

any guy who has been KO'd 3 times by inferior opposition.....should be extremely confident....?!?!?!

Byrd is way past his prime now, but he shoudl still outbox Wlad for about 10 of the 12 rounds...and get robbed in Germany

He's extremely confident because he beat him easily the last time .

....Now, if you said that you thought Wlad would collapse from exhaustion I can sort of buy that. For you to think that Wlad will get outboxed by Byrd, who he outboxed in every round of their last fight, then you are obviously just messing around and looking for a rise. Byrd is slower and easier to hit then he was the first time around. If it makes it to a decision it will be Wlad by a landslide. Even on your card.
