His lack of puncher power is concern, and so are his hand injuries. He's got all the other tools though.

He's obviously not naturally heavy handed, but he punches with enough speed, technique and accuracy that he does hurt his opponents. Kind of like a WW Floyds power. Not huge, but definitely not something you can just ignore.Comment

Too early to be talking about recurring or regular injuries until a pattern develops or emerges.

Yep, and he has hurt every opponent he has faced. Some people are underestimating his punch.Comment

I'm definitely a believer, he's my favorite boxer for sure! The only thing that worries me is that he may have brittle hands. Marcos Villegas posted a tweet that he got suspended due to an injury on his right hand. I'm hoping he didn't injure it and it was just for him to be cautious since he did injure it the fight before.
The hand may be a problem to my plan but I was hoping to see him fight two more times this year and 4 times next year. Right now that he is young plus he's a fighter that learns every time he steps in there so might as well keep him active at the start of his career, can't have him fight only twice a year right now imo.Comment

Haha, well - this isn't so much a vote for the near future - it could come to fruition 5 years down the line - it's just about whether Loma will ever get to #1 p4p at any point in his career. I don't know if a loss to Walters now would even spell an end to that, considering potential rematches and the time left in Loma's career.Comment
