Kontz is completely right. They disclosed all the medications so the athletic commission knew there had to of been an injury of some sort.

They had 2 months to say "we have an injury", but they didn't. Its all their fault, there is no one else to blame, and "I made a mistake" is not a good enough excuse;they lied.

Yeah , but they had no idea it was for an 'injured shoulder' they found that out few hours before the fight when they requested a shot, this wouldnt have been the case if they checked off YES. Do you not understand that?

this gotta be the saddest **** I've seen in years in the sport. the only real ppl that are gonna point the blame in the right direction are die hards, manny had 2/3 the population in his corner, lost without a doubt, and had the ability to bring respect back into the game. he coulda looked at max kellerman and said the truth: that he lost, floyd was better and give him the same credit that floyd gave him after the fight. floyd embraced him and gave him his due. instead we get this. simply because arum knows wtf he's doing, he's lining up a rematch for 2016 and letting the propaganda build up bc he knows that phase I is complete.

they already got 2/3 the public that aren't hardcore fans blaming floyd for his performance, now you got manny in a sling exposing an injury they could have told the NSAC four weeks prior, didn't, didn't even fill out the waiver properly, be denied 90 minutes before the fight, and still blame the commission, say floyd knew and denied him things, that he won the fight, and he wasn't 100%, AND PEOPLE ARE EATING THIS UP AS WE SPEAK. they turned koncz into the same guy in the dark knight that had to stay on the crashing plane when bane made his escape with him willing to take the fall.

once manny is fully recovered and floyd has most likely gone 49-0, its gonna be 2010-2014 all over again. all the chicken memes, ducking memes are gonna be back at an all time high. they've already made floyds win tainted. now phase II is to use the same tactics to crucify floyd and try to get a rematch. floyd could rematch manny, still beat his ass, and they'll say he should fought him 2010 bc that will be the last resort if manny loses again. if floyd tells them he wants 80% they'll call him a coward who is greedy. theres no win/win in this for floyd and the sport is gonna suffer and be put on floyd's doorstep like an angry mob with pitch forks who have no idea how easily they were fooled.

They were worried opponent would then know or they didn't want fight to be cancelled

They only had money on their mind

Mayweather fought jlc with the same injury.

Anyone with common sense would have known that the commision would not have cancelled such a big fight a day before. They would have allowed an injection hour before.

Still how I that a valid excuse to disallow the injection when they even said he would have otherwise been allowed to have the injection if they disclosed it earlier. Who cares if it wasn't reported until 90 mins prior, what would it have hurt the commission to say yes? The only thing that happened by them saying no is that the fans and Manny got screwed big time. How much do you think Floyd paid the commission to say no?

Anyone who watched the fight and has half a brain would know that a healthy 2 armed pacquiao like the one who showed up for the algieri fight would have easily kicked the crap out of mayweather on may 2nd. Thanks nsac, I'm sure there is a special place in hell for you somewhere

ya but it turns out they didnt even tell the usada the injury only the medicine they wanted to take so no mri was ever sent from what i have read
