  • Comments Thread For: Pacquiao's Adviser Claims Responsibility For NSAC Mishap

Michael Koncz, adviser to Manny Pacquiao, is ready to take the full weight of the consequences that are possibly going to come from the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which is upset with Filipino star for failing to disclose a shoulder injury prior to his twelve round decision loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. this past Saturday night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

The NSAC is going to have the state attorney general's office investigate as to why Pacquiao checked "no" a day before the fight on a commission questionnaire asking if he had a shoulder injury.

According to a report on Fox Sports, Nevada Athletic Commission chairman Francisco Aguilar said Monday that Pacquiao could face a possible fine or suspension for not answering the question accurately on a form he filled out prior to last Friday's official weigh-in.

Koncz will be the fall guy, but where's Freddie Roach? He had so much to say before the fight! We were hearing from Roach 2-3 times per week, and he even had the nerve to say that Mayweather "might not show up." Now suddenly Roach is silent! Team Pacquiao is a complete "HYPE JOB!"

Freddie is busy going back over the precise, technical masterplan he's spent 6 years building, to see exactly where Pac went wrong...

True though, as usual Freddie had more to say than most fighters let alone trainers... His time is up

Kontz is completely right. They disclosed all the medications so the athletic commission knew there had to of been an injury of some sort.

That's what he is going with? It was just an inadvertent mistake and you don't think you read the question properly.

"Have you had any injuries to your shoulders, elbows or hands that needed evaluation or examination?"

A straightforward question if there ever was one. They removed the ambiguity of what amounts to an injury by indicating it was any injury in need of evaluation or examination. If Pacquiao sought advice as they have claimed, it would have been a clear yes in Koncz mind.

                ''If yes, please explain."

Putting aside the fact that any person would realise they have checked the no box by virtue of ticking all of the other boxes the same way (but for the one they correctly checked as yes), they were asked to give an explanation. There was no explanation. They showed that they can follow basic instructions because, when asked to specify the drugs taken, he listed them.

He's perhaps paid millions and he made an unexplainable error. Can't believe people are putting their professional intergrity on the line for this ****. Losing to Floyd must have bamboozled their souls.
