Canelo said he'd fight GGG, and his promoter is backing that as well. Damn shame Cotto wont fight him or even utter his name!

So he'll fight GGG at 155 then? Because Canelo himself has no interest in fighting at 160 unless, it's the smallest MW in the world who just happens to be champion.

Most likely not, considering LSC jumped ship as soon as Oscar said he'd fight Rigo also.

Ok Oscar is trying to steal a chapter out of Floyd's textbook buildup. This fight would never reach the height. Neither are pound for pound hall of famers (and probably won be). So Oscar, get a new angle. This worked for Mayweather-Pacquioa but won't work for Canelo-Golovkin. Good try anyway. There are too many other fabulous matchups in the near future.

Let Canelo beat Cotto first so they can make Canelo vs GGG a PPV.

I used to criticize Canelo's opposition, but since the Trout fight you can't really dislike his resume. He fights quality opponents although he could of beat Lara more convincingly.

Eventually, as in a few years when GGG is past 35, already beaten by ward or somebody and has slowed down...

I thought no reason to make a new thread when I can bump this one but i wanted to get this out there. do you think canelo will fight ggg if both win the fights? wbc keeps saying it will be instantly ordered between the winners i wonder if people think oscar will squirm his way out of it or if they will just make the fight. If ggg and canelo both win then meet honestly i think the ppv will be huge more then a million buys. I could be wrong but just seems like it would be the perfect storm with them both winning big fights. Well see what happens im just curious what you guys think and if they do fight do you think they do it at 160 or do u think canelo says 155-156 or no fight belt or not
