Pacquiao and Top Rank lying. USADA wasn't informed of the injury and they wanted to use Lidocaine and anti-inflammatories not just Toradol.

Pacquiao and his promoter, Top Rank, released a statement Monday that said his advisers notified the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency ***8212; which oversaw drug testing for the fight ***8212; of Pacquiao's right shoulder injury well before the May 2 bout "during training." The statement also said USADA "confirmed in writing that the proposed treatments, if used, were completely allowed."

Sources told The News, however, that Pacquiao's camp never informed USADA of the boxer's shoulder injury, and that the two calls his camp made to USADA prior to the fight were inquiries into whether certain substances Pacquiao was considering using were prohibited or not.

Pacquiao's statement also said that the medication ***8220;approved for fight night was a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (Toradol).***8221; Aguilar said Pacquiao's team made a request hours before the fight for a lidocaine shot and anti-inflammatories.

Manny Pacquiao’s camp has greater worries than the lingering sting of the Filipino welterweight’s loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Las Vegas Saturday, and it could come in the form of pr…

Pacs team talks all b.s., if they know that the injury would have effect on him why continue and not pull out and reschedule the fight. Its the biggest fight for his career for christ sake. He should have just stfu and tone down and forget this non sense, he was defeated because he played by floyds game. Roach is ****ed up and should retire, he doesnt have any plan b or c.. Pac clearly lose to floyd and I am amhuge pac fan.

There wasn't anything wrong with Manny's shoulder in that fight. He was launching his right throughout, with zero wincing, or visual indication that anything was wrong. If anybody has had such a serious injury, you'd know the toughest mf in the world couldn't hide that pain for 8 rounds. After the fight he climbed on the ropes and threw both arms to the sky for a while. No mention of this at all in the corner or post fight interview. Come the **** on.

People keep saying "why doesn't the best fight the best." What incentive is there?

He took the fight no one thought he would take, emerged victorious only to find the same doubters scraping the barrel bottom for excuses.

              I am disgusted.

Sad part is they knew they were always going to use this excuse if Pacquiao lost

Whats funny to me is all I heard before the fight is manny is southpaw and his straight left would give Floyd problems now you telling the left handed fighter lost becuase he right arm was hurt

Anybody remember the Klitschko-Byrd fight? The man later wanted to fight through having Lennox Lewis rip off his face, but quit while he was winning easily because of his shoulder. That's what happens when you tear your rotator cuff badly, it takes the fight right out of you. Not this "I destroyed my shoulder in the 3rd but still managed to keep throwing all night without showing it" stuff. I'm a fan of boxing, and I appreciate Pacquiao's ferocity and Mayweather's skills, but when Mayweather looks like the humble good guy after a fight there's something wrong.

No matter what Mayweather does he is not going to get full credit.

Even if Floyd fights him again, some people will say the win doesn't count because he fought against a Pacquiao who came off a shoulder surgery after a 6 months layoff.
