  • I did see Mayweather lock PAC's arm once ..maybe twice. But he did the exact same thing against Maidana. That's how Floyd clinches, he locks up arms.

But it was interesting...Normally Floyd locks the lead hand... If I recall correctly, he locked Pac's right arm.

      • I haven't rewatched the fight yet... but Floyd does lock arms, he always does.

I have Mayweather winning the fight, but he's such a boring fighter who clinches and lock arms ...defensive master who potshots.

He won but he certainly didn't win impressively in my eyes. He just did what he had to do. Only the 11th round stood out..if i recall correctly.

One of the best defensive masters ever in the game.
But certainly not one of the "greatest". Those are boxers who aspire to perform FOR THE FANS, who aspire to entertain. Who have the right balance of defence and offence.

Like Mayweather said after the fight, he doesn't care about boxing anymore. It's just a job to him.

I don't know about you people, but I can see it in how he fights. There's no willingness to entertain. This is also an entertainment business. doesn't connect with me or many others. That's why the prefight weigh in crowd and the May 2nd fight crowd was pro-Pac.

            • That explains the drop in Pac's punching stats.

And why when I can see he could have finished floyd in the 4th, but when he was about to finish Floyd in the fourth, he suddenly stopped his relentless attack when he pinned Floyd off the ropes.

He could have finished him off right there, but he bizarrely stopped.

Now we know his right shoulder was aggrevated when he threw a barrage of punches during the 4th round from then on he was nursing pain till the 12 th round.

The heart of a true warrior. Stand tall Manny!

Wouldn't Manny's right hand be his lead hand?

                  Hahahahaha WTF!!

This made me crack right up here. You really think he was about to finish Floyd and bizarrely stopped? That's some serious reaching right there.

Maybe, the reason he stopped, is because he wasn't landing anything? Floyd just covered up and waited for the storm to pass. Floyd was so comfortable, he didn't even try and move. Sure, the first punch hurt him a little, but that was the only clean punch that landed.
