Its not a hard fight to sell at all. All Floyd fights are going to be boring but people still want to see him, get beat and people still think Pac can with a good shoulders.

It wont make as much money this time, but Floyd can take a bigger percentage of the purse.
These two fighters should always have had a trilogy anyway.

It wasn't that Pac couldn't make it a competitive fight, he has the tools to make it a competitive fight. I just don't think he is willing to take the risk anymore. Which brings my next point, he needs to have some dignity or retire. I get it, after the Marquez KO I am sure his family and close ones don't want him risking his health but unfortunately for him, that is the only way for him to be successful. So either hang them up or fight like you fight.

We all witnessed that he changed his style after that brutal KO, problem is there is no chance in hell he is going to beat Mayweather with this new "evolving" style of his because he just doesn't have the tools to do it.

Furthermore, he had his chance and he completely blew it by showing up with the completely wrong game plan. Nobody wants to see a rematch and frankly I don't blame them. I don't think he has that killer instinct anymore. But for the money involved I don't think he gives a **** and he's willing to take another big payday by risking little.

In the end, what would you do? If you are offered $50 million or whatever it is to fight Mayweather again. Are you going to go in there and risk getting KTFO (Marquez style) or cruise and hope you did enough? Either way you get $50 million. I think the answer is obvious. Especially when you have a family and are looking to get into politics. Not to mention, your own trainer is suffering from Parkinsons due to getting hit too much.

Floyd Sr. is on some real talk here. I've been saying it for years, Floyd is a once in a lifetime type of fighter, he'll be remembered as one of the best of all time once he hangs them up.

Cotto is the handicap beater... Margarito = broken orbital bone, Martinez = two broken legs lol, Foreman = broken knee

So I understand how you want to count this one.

But guess what? Lomachenko, Holyfield and Bayless and thousands of other PROFESSIONALS with DEGREES and CREDENTIALS agree with me. Yet 13 forum trolls think floyd won. Guess who's right? I am. And guess what, when floyd is forced into the rematch because he is sad no one counts the victory, I will win because it means I was right.
Well the win did count for Cotto just like it did Floyd. One became champ and the other stayed champ.

The only reason Holyfield thought Manny won is because they are both delusional fanatics when it comes to their religion and they both are terrible with their money. They're the same guy.

Sr. is totally right, it would be very tough, almost impossible even, to sell a rematch. A very very huge percentage of people who paid for the fight and helped turn it into a potential $4-4.5m record actually expected a FIGHT. Not a "fight" with the bigger, taller and longer fighter playing keep away with the midget.

Fact of the matter is, most of the people who helped make this fight the most profitable in the history of the sport are casuals. And with the anti-climactic snooze-fest they just witnessed, no one in their right mind would be duped in spending their money on this again. Even if Manny's injury turns out to be true and that would be the their selling point for a rematch, people won't be fooled again to see 12 rounds of Dancing with the Stars.

And I actually expect all the sales of the upcoming fights in the foreseeable future would take a hit thanks to this so-called "fight of the century". Sales would drop all across the board, even Manny's and Floyd's next fights whoever and whenever that may be. Boxing really took a huge hit with this one.

If there's a rematch, the purse split should be divided by how much Mayweather dominated the fight.

So about 97% of the Purse in Floyds favour....

I hope they don't let a small group of tards give them the idea of a rematch.

What's the point? Pretty obvious he won't get credit.

He just schooled him and the excuses are on overload.
