Floyd Sr and many posters on here noted Pac been gunshy since that KO, tainted win

In all fairness, Pac should have taken this fight five years ago before the Marquez KO. However, we all know why he refused and was reluctant in doing so because he didn't want to fight Money on his terms.
In any case, that version of Pac was a wrecking ball machine; Full of explosive aggression, stamina, speed and power. I agree with the general consensus that he would have stood a much better chance of defeating Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Back in 2010 as opposed to the gun shy Manny Pacquiao who showed up against Floyd 5 years later.
For instance, after buzzing Floyd in the 4th round which had him reeling into the ropes; Pac backed off him for fear of being countered; Something that he would have never done before that KO loss to JMM.

Credit to Floyd for the win, but the result of this fight is just plain weird and nobody can deny that.
How can you explain Pacquiao throwing only 429 punches in the most important fight of his entire career?
The same Pacquiao who threw 1069 punches against Margarito?
When you're hesitant and calculated against Floyd you get picked off.
Prime Pac was reckless which would have been to his advantage against Mayweather.

It's all good though when you're fighting the likes of Chris Algieri & Brandon Rios, and even Tim Bradley to an extent, but not so much when you're in there with Floyd Mayweather. I mean not that Floyd is a big puncher, but Manny knows full well that Floyd is an exceptionally sharp counterpuncher, so he had that hesitation seemingly every time he was ready to jump in.Originally posted by tjones1989 View PostANOTHER reason why this fight doesn't mean to much. This fight should have happened in 2009.

In the rematch though, a 100% healthy, Pacquiao will KO him. I will go all in on a KO win.
If you rewatch the fight and you still think floyd won, you are dumb.
