heres a show from back then and keep in mind no one thought ali was **** compared to other eras all agreed with cus d'amato it just shows people dont realize how people under play their own era and make gods of fighters from the past this is just a short clip of the show they went thru fighter after fighter and the point is the boxing public regualr public thought ali was just a product of a weak time and would get crushed by all the legends. it just shows that people under appreciate current athletes even more so ones that people dont like cause lets not forget not many people liked ali

I hate blanket statements like this. No boxer is invincible or unbeatable.

However, the truth is that Floyd isn't going to fight someone this late in his career that he thinks might beat him or hurt him. I'm not sure who could, to be quite honest. Obviously Pacquiao isn't that guy.

He is not "The Best Ever" but he's the best of now, without question.

I don't think people are still ready to say Mayweather Jr. > Duran/Leonard/Hearns... not yet.. who knows, but I don't think they will.

At least I don't think Floyd would ever beat Hearns.

Mayweather is "unbeatable".

He's the best at winning a boxing match.

He's perfected a style of boxing that is boring to spectate, but is highly effective.

Most people want to see him fight, go for KO's, land big shots, be out for blood.

Mayweather was far more entertaining as a lightweight against Corrales and Gatti. So flashy, so blindingly fast and accurate.

Now that he's slowed down/fighting heavier guys he's changed up his approach to boxing to make money at lower risk.

He could've been one of the greatest ever, but his style will never be accepted by the mainstream public no matter how much he wins. It's just not entertaining enough for the majority of people.

I Like Pacquiao, but I knew he couldnt beat TBE. I am a boxing fan, and will always see boxing talent first before anything. All the MP fans should give TBE his props and concede the better man won.

It was a setup I'm not impressed w/ Mayweather's performance at all. They made the scores to far to make it look that Floyd dominates but the truth the the fight was that close and Manny was the clear aggressor.
