At least Mike is honest. I know he's a hater, but he has to bow down to the master. Floyd dominated Manny completely. Just like everyone else, he was mesmerized by the counter shots. There's a reason why fighters say there going on attack, but then get hesitant. Mayweather was way more skillful, and dominated Manny both off the ropes, and in the center of the ring! Freddie Roach should be embarrassed about how poor of a gameplan he had for Floyd!

Based on what, less US fighters at the top? This is the first era when World Champion actually means the Champion Of The Whole World. (At least it would if there were undisputed champions, but I think you get the point.)

B..b..b..but if Manny won it would have been a strong era and you would immediately crown him TBE right? Please. Take a little vacation from boxing bud.

No other fighter is or has been that complete.
Even tho I agree with that, that's the same reason why i don't like him.

All the talent in the world and when he got to a certain level he became more worried about keeping a 0 in the resume than giving a show.

Not worth the hype, not worth even 1% of the ticket price

He's perfected a style of boxing that is boring to spectate, but is highly effective.

Most people want to see him fight, go for KO's, land big shots, be out for blood.

Mayweather was far more entertaining as a lightweight against Corrales and Gatti. So flashy, so blindingly fast and accurate.

Now that he's slowed down/fighting heavier guys he's changed up his approach to boxing to make money at lower risk.

He could've been one of the greatest ever, but his style will never be accepted by the mainstream public no matter how much he wins. It's just not entertaining enough for the majority of people.
His style is NOT ENTERTAINING AT ALL. Period. All defense. Cowardly but highly effective. Incredible ability to avoid getting punched.

I am a Floyd detractor because of his fighting style and his big mouth (calling himself TBE).

I admit that he won the fight fair and square. That right now he is the best boxer in the planet, no doubt about it. He made Manny look totally inadequate and frankly pathetic.

But we have to be fair here. Two things affected Manny and made him lose the confidence and killer instinct he had, and "casually" Floyd finally accepted the fight, when Manny was already damaged goods:
                1) The robbery decision vs. Bradley. That robbery made Manny lose his #1 P4P status vs. Floyd and lose faith in the judging system, so for his next fight vs. Marquez, he got obsessed by winning by KO, afraid of being robbed again, and that made him very reckless.
                2) The brutal KO vs. Marquez. This is really what changed Manny from a confident fighting machine into a way more conservative and even timid at times kind of boxer. When Roy Jones got ko'd,the first time, he never really . recovered. Same with Mike Tyson, Tommy Hearns and so many others.

I think the featherweight Manny that obliterated Barrera did stand a chance to beat Floyd, but that never happened at the time. I believe Floyd is a natural welterweight who started lighter when he was younger, and Manny is a natural featherweight who bloated up to achieve historic multi-class championships.

Also, he didn't seem to have any stamina last night, which was a first for him, how could he throw less punches than Floyd? How come he stopped punching Floyd in the 4th when Floyd was a non-moving object in the ropes, and Manny even backed down??? I just can't understand that, it really puzzled me seeing that happen, and from that moment on, I knew Manny had lost the fight.

I feel really sorry for the people who paid a fortune for a ticket to that fight. What a huge disappointment. I hope people think twice from now on when any of those two guys fight again, because none of them is worth paying record amounts for a fight, that's for sure.

I kinda agree. I was disappointed that Pac just accepted his defeat as the fight went on. In previous eras, a champion fighter would put it all on the line to try and turn a fight and avoid losing to a great rival.

That said, Floyd did what he had to do to win. He was perfect. But if the shoe was on the other foot, and Floyd need to score big in the latter rounds, you know he would have turned up the heat on Pacquiao.

Pac was the only disappointment last nite. Floyd did his job perfectly.

Floyd won...its settled. honestly im a little disappointed with Pac, his own fault if he didn't go in 100%. Floyd looked superb tho and he deserves his credit. I thought that was awesome how he danced that last few seconds(ali-esque). Pac had no answer and was drawn in that he forgot all about head movement, I think he realized he was in with the real deal. almost like Floyd had him hypnotized. no excuses ppl, Floyd finally beat Pac. I bet some of yall wished the fight had never happened.
