Floyd an all time great lol. Floyd had a 5"reach and 2" height advantage and looked like he had at least 10lbs on Pac. A bigger ATG counter puncher and he only landed 30% of his punches. No wonder Holyfield thought Floyd lost. I truly thought that neither guy looked good and the fight was closer than the scores. Glad I didn't have to pay the $100. I see now why Floyd didn't want any part of Sergio Martinez, made Maidana wear pillows and drained an already slow Canelo. Can't really give him credit for Hatton or JMM either since neither should have been fighting at 147. Oscar had only fought twice in 30 months b4 their fight. Too bad Floyd retired when Margo and Paul Williams were at the top. Coincidence ! I think not. Great light weight and HOF fighter but really not an ATG.

What does that have to do with greatness? FOTY's are bouts that are competitive with constant ebb and flow, momentum shifts, and drama. They are not one-sided fights.

Mayweather is able to box so good that he makes excellent fighters look a notch below how good they really are. Because of how one-sided his bouts are, he will never be in a fight of the year, nor does he have to be to considered great.

That post was so weak, I can't believe I'm taking the time to reply to it.

Unfortunately all the non-boxing fans I have spoken have been left disappointed. No doubt it was a defensive master class by Mayweather. But, fights like this are killing boxing.

Boxing fans knew Mayweather wouldnt engage Pacquaio. But, non-boxing fans don't understand this.

Mayweather - The ATG defensive fighter. Thats it
Yup Boxing took a huge hit.

Timing , distance control, speed, Floyd is superior. Floyd Sr was even yelling at Floyd saying he was fighting scared. Floyd dominated.

Manny was so shocked at how strong and fast Floyd was he could just attack him.thatscwhat happens when you fight a real welterweight that is not drained.

He's one of the great fighters ever. Not just HOF "yeah he's great" but one of the genuine greats the sport has ever seen. I don't like him, but I've never had a problem admitting that.

What's 'unfortunate' is ones like you actually believe the head ducker is an ATG. Sure, you win some bets, but at what cost? We get boring fights, the guy avoids real challenges until their foe has dropped a notch or two... yet you still 'believe'. Wadda joke.
Let the butt hurt flow. I'm not even a Floyd fan but I can recognize greatness. It must really hurt that he'll go down as one of the greats why you're sucking on those sour g****s. Grow up man.
