Floyd probably had this put in the contract. He has full power over who can cover this fight I guess. Lol

i have no issue with ppl brining up floyds domestic violence past. imo, thats fair game and its something that should never be erased or hidden. but these ppl using it to gain attention for themselves, to bolster their public persona when in actuality they could give two ****s about the sport of boxing or this fight in general, thats the sad ****. what kind of person do u have to be to take a serious issue and use it to put yourself into the spotlight?? thats kinda pathetic.Comment

In addition to banning @Rachel__Nichols and @MichelleDBeadle, Mayweather declined to credential @mrogersUSAT, who has written great DV stuff

Exactly.
What is the purpose of jail if they are just keep rehashing the same old ****ing stories. He got off light as shyt, and he deserves to get the hate he does for what he did. These people are just using it to further own agenda and careers instead of genuinely giving a shyt.Comment

Moral of the story is this, if this isn't the clearest of ESPN agendas, I don't think you'll ever see the plot then. Domestic Violence is wrong, no two ways about it. The problem is that this is years in the past. Don't claim to be the worldwide leader in sports, past, present and future yet still be years late to the party to want to report something. No one wasn't even thinking about the DV issues until ESPN dove head first into it. Beadle, especially her, hypocritical of the coverage of this when he fraternizes with both Steve Austin and Jim Lampley, men that have had their own DV issues. They can miss me with their selective social stances and sympathies.
This and there are no two ways about it.Comment

After hearing my credential was pulled, I went home. Told this morning that HBO was able to get it re-approved late last night.

Kevin Iole says on twitter that Nichols was indeed given a credential but CNN was only given one extra seat in the arena so they gave the job to a male reporter instead.
Nichols is taking it out on Mayweather instead of her bosses.
Shill is upset she can't get a seat at the fight.
