She works PR for Floyd Mayweather. PR people are supposed to work their hardest to defend, protect and enhance their client's reputation.

I'm a big fan of Rachel Nichols and I don't believe she is lying at all. She has a very good heart and she works for an incredibly outstanding global news network giant. It's completely out of character and completely unprofessional of her to just lie about something like this. I don't believe it. Nope.

What I think happened is that Rachel Nichols and Beadle did initially have their credentials denied by Floyd's team, but once the word went out (the higher-ups learned about this development), then Mayweather's team/MGM or whoever had to reverse their decision. And now Kelly Swanson, who works as PR for Floyd Mayweather, is doing damage control saying that Nichols and Beadle were never blocked to begin with.

This is the most likely scenario IMHO.
