If by killer instinct Manny means "relentlessness" than good. He's going to need it.

He's taken his foot off the gas pedal at times against Cotto, Margs, Algieri, Rios, Bradley.

There are times where he looks like he legitimately forgets that this is the hurt game. Like he rather stop hitting them and start preaching to them about Jesus.

Manny won't get tired after 4 rounds, Manny won't be dissuaded by missing shot. He's going to keep coming and Floyd will need to use his legs or get hit more than any other fight in his life.
Hopefully for Pac's sake you are right because if Manny leaves that left out there too long, chances are Mayweather times him with a short check left hook of his own.

It's Manny's bread and butter. Floyd needs to eat it and land one of his own. If he tries dodging it then it will be too late. Manny's feet are too fast, he will have moved out of the way by the time Floyd counterattacks.

Taking one to give one isn't Floyd's style so I don't see it happening.

THAT is the main difference between Marquez and Floyd. Marquez is willing to take that risk.

Pacquiao misses a lot with his left, which will leave him exposed to counters. His jab can be very good too but a similar problem exists there: he often lunges with it.

Mayweather has a six-inch reach advantage in this fight, which will complicate matters even further for Pacquiao.

Not trying to sound negative - just realistic. A "killer instinct" can be a blessing and a curse. If it comes without compromising awareness and defense, it's a plus. If it comes with any disregard to that, it can be a curse. Pac should have two fight plans in place if one is not working out as well. Staying with a losing plan and not adjusting could net him a loss.

Unless the fight is mostly fought at close quarters, then reach wont help. Floyd should avoid the ropes at all costs. If he does, he can win. If he gets trapped there often, he could lose.

I think if he goes to the ropes like Maidana managed to make him do, then Floyd can lose rounds by getting outworked.

"Killer instinct" is just a catch phrase for juvenile boys to latch on to. Instinct doesn't come and go... it's instinctive.
