The way Floyd has been looking and acting leading up to this fight.....I actually believe him......Question is.....how long will he do it....and will it work considering he has bad hands and not used to taking damage and havent thrown a combo since he was fighting at 140/135

Floyd usually starts making his adjustment after the 4th round, when the opponent is gassed. Maidana and Garcia had the right strategy in going balls out in the 1st round to hurt/wind him early, and make him puff the remaining rounds.
If he trys to change things and be aggressive in the early rounds, I could see him gassing earlier than later. do it. I was rewatching maidana vs floyd II, floyd looked rather sluggish in the later rounds, against MAIDANA. Manny could capitalize

I expect Mayweather to fight how he always does but if he decides to trade he will do just fine. He has a very underrated offense.

Since then, he's become a Picasso in the ring.... only I'm sure Picasso was a lot more active while painting than Floyd is in the ring these days.
My only problem with Floyd trying to trade is....he isnt used to taking punches and didnt react well from "single" blows from Madiana and Mosley.....Manny is gonna throw up to 5 punches back to back....then disappear to the side of Floyd.

Thing is Judah gasses and is mentally relatively weak and he stopped moving so he got battered towards the end

The thing that gets me is a lot of people have this idea that Floyd is scared of getting hit, that he doesn't go to war, like he doesn't have that gear in his arsenal. Floyd doesn't fight that way because he doesn't have to. Floyd isn't someone that just falls apart when his opponent gets to him. Whenever he's been pressed hard avd had to fight his way out he has and he has always come up the victor.

Basically it is this: Boxing with Floyd is virtual suicide. Fighting with Manny is virtual suicide.
Floyd saying he will come out early, attack Manny and bring the fight too him, is on par with how weird Manny would sound by saying 'I will take centre ring, control the distance and pick him off.' We know that would be BS too, because we know Manny's main shot at winning this fight is to overwhelm.
Having said that, it would be great for Floyd to press the attack at times and I hope he does for the sake of a good fight. I just do not put much faith in him claiming to plan on attacking Manny as a general approach to the fight.
