As much as the previous 54 do.

Floyd will not fight an aggressive fight. He is not an aggressive fighter and Manny chews people up that stand with him. He knows that. Look at fighters that are known for having that aggressive edge and how they fared vs Manny/people that didn't try too box him.

Basically it is this: Boxing with Floyd is virtual suicide. Fighting with Manny is virtual suicide.

Floyd saying he will come out early, attack Manny and bring the fight too him, is on par with how weird Manny would sound by saying 'I will take centre ring, control the distance and pick him off.' We know that would be BS too, because we know Manny's main shot at winning this fight is to overwhelm.

Having said that, it would be great for Floyd to press the attack at times and I hope he does for the sake of a good fight. I just do not put much faith in him claiming to plan on attacking Manny as a general approach to the fight.

impossible to know if he is telling the truth or not but hopefully he is. The main thing I want is an exciting fight and if floyd comes to fight that's what we'll get.

i think it's more likely that floyd will be cagey and look to counter and pot shot early but is perhaps hoping he might be able to start coming forward more and more as the fight progresses

Mannys lack of a jab will get him knocked out. Cotto, Chino and Oscar all had that jab to close distance. Manny will leap forward to get punches in.. and a left hook will greet him.. night night

This isn't much of a surprise. Floyd doesn't fight southpaws in the conventional manner. He only occasionally circles to their right and often gives up lead foot position in favour of ducking low to his opponents left and fighting a more aggressive fight.

If he doesn't deter Manny early it'll be interesting to see how he deals with the left 'cause Manny doesn't so much as throw it in position as launch himself through off his back foot. He won't be in an ideal postion to counter when he's ducking low and spinning off and if Pacquiao can time him he'll get caught leaning in.

Timing Mayweather though is a very big if.

Not when we are talking about knockout ability going into Floyd Mayweather , Mannys last 10 fights are the only ones that matter .

Why last 10? What made you settle on the number 10? Does it have to do with weight class or did you just go back to his last stoppage and draw the line there?
