Comments Thread For: Roach: Mayweather Has Never Faced This Much Speed

FREDDIE ROACH has warned Floyd Mayweather: you can run but you can't hide.

Manny Pacquiao's trainer is confident his man will cause a shock in Saturday's super-fight in Las Vegas.

Mayweather, 38, is regarded as boxing's defensive master and has never been beaten.

But Roach believes he is heading for a fall against his speedy Filipino.

"Mayweather has never came up against anyone with so much speed," he said.

How long ago was that? Manny has superior foot work to Zab.

Don't get me wrong, Zab is the greatest 4 round fighter ever. I'll call him TBE4

And Manny has never faced the timing and accuracy that will be here , if he wants to jump in with his head up like he always does , thats fine he must get past Floyds range before he can get into his range , then the options flow , Floyd only has to either split the shots with an accurate counter or step into him and Manny is fkd either way .

Floyd is going to do things that will frustrate the sht out of Manny and he will get reckless , timing will alway negate speed and Floyds timing is radar .

judah at 28 in 2006 was faster than floyd, very good jab and good left hand, also had excellent foot speed and foot work, guy just couldn't take body punches. it had 0 to do with zab losing focus or given up, he ate a lot hooks to the body and it slowed him down.

idk about those two things, zab at 28 had great hands and foot speed, maybe better than a 36 year old pac, if you wanted to compare zab at 28 to pac at 28 pac is miles ahead, zab just couldn't take body punches which is why he got beaten a lot.

Zab ran into Kostya too early and too green they fcked Zab doing that , once youre clocked like that some fighters have a rubber band holding there chin together , once the band breaks the resistance is gone .

still gotta give zab credit, he got back into the ring with some big punchers and beat spinks for an undisputed title, he didn't pull an amir khan by any means.
