It is not difficult to imagine that most boxing commissions can be "convin$ed" to allow a fight even when a fighter is injured. Arum spent good money to avoid the cancellation (or at least moving out of NY) the fight Margo-Cotto 2. That fight was also a fraud from the point of view of clearing a guy who was rejected by 5 different specialist. Then the night of the fight you had NYC physicians intervening round after round and willing to stop the fight (which eventually happened at the end of the 9th round). Everybody was happy since Margo collected a last big check and the fans of Cotto felt avenged.
