Most of his recent competition was about his height. Canelo, Mosley, Ortiz, Maidana, Guerrero all look 5'8-5'9 imo.

But anyway don't understand the purpose of this thread. Does the OP think that all these guys lost to him because of their height? And what meaningfully taller fighters were people asking him to fight that he avoided? I mean the only one I can think of that anyone would name is Margacheato. I wouldn't exactly bet money that he'd beat Mayweather.

Yeah Floyd defintely ain't 5'8.

Guererro' supposedly 5'8 and Castillo is supposedly 5'7 and both looked taller than Floyd.

HBO had them both at 5'8"

Canelo is 0.3 inch (1cm) taller than him. Same Ortiz. Does it count? I mean... you think of Pacquiao.. he has fought people that was three inches or more taller than him. You think of Matthysse, Broner, Martinez... they all fought people a few inches taller than him.

Why is mayweather never taking that risk and avoiding fighters that are taller than him by a few inches? he only agreed to fight dela hoya but he was wasted already and about to retire.

Diego Corrales was much taller (standing at 5'11"), undefeated, and considered an animal at the time. Mayweather dropped him like 5 times.
