I agree. I dont expect Floyd to use the shoulder role much in this fight.

He'll use what works, same as he always has.

mosley was coming off of losing 11 rounds too Floyd and a draw with mora.

pacquiao was supposed too dominate every one of those fighters you mentioned.
Oh I see, It's like how inferior maidana should have been destroyed easily against Floyd and that Floyd is expected to win all of the rounds easily because he is just inferior to Floyd, but instead he fought twice in a competitive fight. Got it

I'm deluded? Mosely and Roach confirmed this not me idiot.

You and your glass jaw amir khan are the ones that are deluded lol Glass jaw khan trying to get a fight with the big boys knowing he has a long way to reach the top with his glass jaw hanging on his chin lol, and you undermining what real fighter like Mosely has mentioned, and a respectable coach saying about how shoulder rolls don't work in a south paw stance. Geez, and I'm deluded.. OKay.

        Deluded much. Yup lol

How did he avoid Lara? Floyd has gone up 3 times in weight for lucrative fights. ODLH, Cotto and Canelo. I don't see where was the acclaim to face Lara.

I do agree that a good jabber gets to Floyd but he always eventually adjusts to it

Already been a few decent posts breaking down how he adjusts his style to suit southpaws...TS is clearly just a hater.

Roach insisted that Mayweather's shoulder roll will not work against southpaws like Pacquiao, and even warned doom for the flamboyant American if he utilizes the same defensive tactic come fight night.

It's so overrated. It doesn't work against southpaws, if he does do it; he will have to pay for it, said Roach.

I truly believe that Floyd having not to use his shoulder roll when fighting a southpaw becomes less of a complete fighter than when he is fighting an orthodox fighter. Without his shoulder roll he is not 100% Floyd Mayweather.

Without Floyd's shoulder roll in play he cannot be the complete defensive genius that we are known to see. His shoulder roll is not only used for his defense, but he uses his shoulder roll to set up most of his offense. Without being able to use it it becomes a disadvantage for him knowing how much a role it plays in his game. It's one of his signature moves that he relies on and if he can't use it against the likes of an accurate southpaw that has a deadly left straight.

Floyd will be limited without his shoulder roll. He can use other skills in his bag of tricks but he can't use his main weapon of choice which has been and always been the shoulder roll.
I agree with you to an extent, the shoulder roll isnt quite as effective against a south paw considering the stance but it did work well aganist Ortiz which at the time had knocked down every fighter he had ever faced hence this showed power. Mayweather did fight the fight more aggressively though which is what orthodox fighters have to do against southpaws, its your right vs his left (vice versa) Mayweather also did this against Corley and Judah which are both southpaws, but the shoulder roll is still effective given Mayweathers reach and reflexes which is why its hard to immitate.
