its really wierd how all these people just overlook the fact team pac (admittedly) walked away from negotiations behind testing issues in 2009 yet somehow its floyd who avoided pac. i really dont understand the logic, like at least acknowledge that and then go on with your arguments, the media has done a great job at whiping reality from the minds of the masses

If Floyd was really forced, boxed in and had no where to go. That means Floyd would be negoiating from a weak stand point. If that is the case why Arum being such a smart man.

I disagree. Pacquiao's name is forever tied to PEDs, so his ducking of testing will go hand in hand with his legacy. Just like the Pac fight happening later than it should have will draw criticism of Floyd.

Spot on post! Oscar was on the inside for all the negotiations except this one, and probably has some good insight. I think Oscar genuinely tried to make this fight for years.

Yet he's the guy who tried negotiating 3 times to make this fight happen..but Oscar doesn't know ****. He may be bitter, he may miss being the man...but he negotiated this fight the first three times. Maybe just maybe he knows what he's talking about. That's not to discount the other side may not have wanted it it too just saying about someone speaking as having worked for one side.

I believe that was waaay more Shaeffer doing the negotiations than Oscar, and I believe you know that as well, and didn't the other side drop off in each rd of negotiations until now?
