Arum cannot lie about Moonves, like he lied about Schaeffer/Ellerbe/Haymon/Mayweather..... because it would decimate the little credibility he has left and it would expose him as the roadblock.

When Arum lied about Richard Schaeffer, whilst Schaeffer was standing right next to him at a press conference in July 2010..... Schaeffer stated that "everyone knows Arum is a liar"... and "I am willing to take a lie detector test to prove it"...... many actually sided with Arum, in spite of the overwhelming evidence.

Arum simply could not take that position with Les Moonves.

Moonves would state that Arum is an underhanded liar who cannot be trusted..... he would NOT offer to take a lie detector test, because that would be completely unnecessary..... and yet EVERYBODY would believe him, and know exactly whats up, because of his position.

Nobody believes a boxing promoter, they rate slightly higher than a car dealer on the credibility scale..... the head of CBS has unmeasured credibility, even the Bobfather wouldnt think about messing with him.

Arum couldnt pull his stunts/roadblocks once Moonves became involved.
