Strange, Floyd didn't want the fight yet chased and cornered Manny at the ball game, went to his room and did his best sells job while Arum & Roach was absent.

“I honestly never thought it would happen,” De La Hoya told 7DAYS. “You see Floyd Mayweather was forced to take this fight. He was under pressure from promoters, the fans and the media so he had no other choice but to face Pacquiao.

remember when oscar says that floyd-pac fight is nearly done in a talk show and says "no negotiation" a week later.

it kind of damage oscars integrity then- lying to protect floyd.

he said he doesnt want to see floyd walk away with an 0....something he didnt have to worry about with manny who had already lost several times...and plus floyd beat him with oscar was still the cash cow and could do 2 million...manny only beat floyd's remains pretty much...skin color and being called a B word over and over again can help as well...oscar had nothing to do with making this fight and now he's trying to find a way to have something to do with it...know how much money he lost out on now that floyd doesnt do business with him anymore>

Only the biggest dck riders think Floyd wasnt forced to take this fight.......Come on, all this guy talks about is money but it took this long for him to actually care about making this amount of money against somebody who they claim is "easy work or mismatch....

But all of sudden you the most focused you have ever been , chopping wood n shlt.....The Mayweather family is the king of contradictions

And yea Oscar do be hating, but I agree with what he said mostly

If Mayweather was forced to drop his demand for more stringent testing and take a lesser cut, and he still took the fight, I'd agree he was forced. He's getting a bigger cut and the tests Team Pacquiao walked from have been accepted...... with no cut off dates. So nope, I'm not convinced. If Pacquiao did before what he's agreed to do now, we'd be talking about a fight happened 5 years ago. You have to ask why it was good to walk before but now it's all fine and dandy.

its really wierd how all these people just overlook the fact team pac (admittedly) walked away from negotiations behind testing issues in 2009 yet somehow its floyd who avoided pac. i really dont understand the logic, like at least acknowledge that and then go on with your arguments, the media has done a great job at whiping reality from the minds of the masses
