It would'nt be a boring fight because GGG is outstanding at cutting the ring off. He would force Lara to fight. As for your other post, I mean really. Lara brings nothing to the table and Willie Monroe brings exactly what? Lara actually has a solid resume and is the WBA regular champ.

Monroe is a MIDDLEWEIGHT. GGG is a MIDDLEWEIGHT. Lara is not. GGG has stated many times that he is only willing to change weight classes for a PPV fight. Lara is not a PPV fight. People cry when anyone mentions Mayweather as a possible fight at 154 BECAUSE HE HOLDS THE TITLE and complain that it would not be a fair fight. But Lara would be? How about the Charlo brothers? At least they are undefeated, that would be some kind of a reason for the fight.

Ah yes! I forgot! This is the twitter generation where children can go on twitter to challenge men and other children take it seriously.

i believe loeffler said it around the time the fight was signed. monroe jr has also described himself thus. anyway, even if it wasn't exactly referred to as the "cuban style" (although i could have sworn it was), everyone including golovkin and loeffler knows that monroe jr is a novice of a speedy, unconventional southpaw compared to lara

He has 4 legit opponents at 160 still. 2 won't fight him(Quillin, Cotto) and 1 fight probably can't be made(Jacobs actually Quillin to lol)) and one fight could be made but it will be down the road a bit(Lee).
there's also the winner of n'dam-lemieux, which is hopefully a doable fight. he could plausibly unify the division within the next 12 months, albeit against three subpar titlists. but i reckon that two more straps are enough to put him in a great position to fight alvarez or move up to super middle. if he abandons middleweight right now it will mean he never gets to be officially recognised as the real champion of his prime weight class, which would be a tragedy imo

WBA 'regular' championship title means absolutely nothing. That and a couple of bucks will get you a coffee at Starbucks. And as I just replied to someone else, Monroe is a MIDDLEWEIGHT as is GGG.

Alvarez and Oscar have both said that GGG is not being considered for the immediate future. And GGG is the middleweight champion, not Canelo, and does not need anything to be in position to fight Alvarez. If anything, Canelo will have to make his name at 160, not at 155, to earn his shot at GGG down the line.

bITTCHLE g fans come out in masses to give every reason as to why they dont want to see the best fight the best..

              1. haymon fighters arent welcome on hbo
but they told stevenson if he really wants the fight he would go to hbo
              2. lara has no belt
but eveybody agree there are too many belts in boxing and lots of them mean nothing
              3. lara brings nothing to the table
oh but martin murray, curtis stevens, willie monroe, daniel geale and mfs like that do
              4. andrade only wants it on ppv
MAKE HIM A STINKING OFFER THEN...not once did it only say on ppv..its said ultimately wants that to be ppv...doesnt mean u cant have 2 fights

i thought greats moved up in weight and beat those guys too...he cant be on my p4p list fighting nobodies and not moving up...at least not high on it anyways

That wasnt on hbo, it was Showtime, and a purse bid scenario

i am assuming that before 2016 alvarez will have beaten cotto (with or without title) and fought at the full limit of 160 lbs, or very near it. he is the only fighter within middleweight limits who can get golovkin on pay-per-view (apart from cotto who won't fight him and is soon to be beaten). you're crazy if you think golovkin holds leverage over a saul alvarez coming off of beating cotto and possibly lemieux. canelo will be the marquee name that golovkin's middleweight resume so desperately needs

I would like to see him fight Lemieux as that has a FOTY written all over it, but again that is just another scenario of lets wait and see. Again I stess that people need to make and take the best available fight. Him fighting at a 157 or 158 catch weight or taking a fight at 168 does'nt end his ability to unify the middleweight division.

your an idiot you keep bringing up all these other boxers but ones we talking about of course he would drop down for a Mayweather fight for cash you just trying justify him fighting this ESPN fighter it's only 3 fighters from 154-160 that is ppl worthy canelo cotto and Mayweather so he shouldn't fight no one else because it's not a ppv fight and your only one talking about this guy being small your only one mentioning it
