Take a look at the current fight schedule in the MW division and find me a better opponent for this date. EVERYONE is already busy with fights so GGG decided to get some rounds in against a southpaw, a style he has little experience with. Much better to do that in the ring against a live opponent than to do it in sparring sessions.

When you fight 4 times a year while all the rest of the top boxers only fight twice a year, MAX, sometimes you have to make allowances and give some one the chance of their life.

i'm not mad at this opponent but i am mad at this lie...monroe was not their first selection and monreo himself broke that down on thaboxingvoice..he was the third option after 2 more options fell through..and neither one of the guys he mentioned was a money man, so that tells me that they were looking for a can again...at this point at least this can move and his boxing skill/bit of defense unlike geale who can just move

Completely agree, but Murray is more big and tough. Monroe can't take so much.

excuses like this yell take me off your p4p list...bc i can only fight in my division..nothing is wrong with fighting a money man jr mid or 168 guy..and u know it..go ahead and tell me about how he wont get full credit...then tell me how much credit he is getting for this
