  • Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury: I'll Take Over, End Klitschko's Reign By KO!

WBO mandatory challenger Tyson Fury (24-0, 18KOs) is mentally ready to trade big punches with WBO/IBF/IBO/WBA champion Wladimir Klitschko, who last Saturday night won a twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Bryant Jennings.

Fury was not impressed by the victory. Klitschko faced a little bit more trouble than expected. Many predicted a knockout victory, but Jennings went the distance and was never in serious trouble during the contest. The showing made Fury grow in confidence that he can overtake Klitschko.

Klitschko and his team have pegged Fury as the next opponent, likely at some point in the summer. There is a question as to where the contest will take place - the United States, Germany or the UK.

The problem with being as tall as Tyson Fury is that there's not much oxygen at that altitude, consequently his brain doesn't function normally.

        War Fury!!!

After watching Wlad at the weekend, i have no doubt whatsoever that Fury beats him. Too big, too slick, too fast. Fury will take him into deep waters and will eventually stop him in the later rounds.

It's good with all this self confidence, and Vladimir should fight him and shut his big mouth. The build up should be hilarious.

Tyson usually talks this way right after Wlad fights... But then when it's time to sign a contract he announces he's fighting.... Herbie Hide or something. That he will "be ready for Wlad soon".

Let's cross our fingers this time. I actually think Fury has a solid chance after seeing Wlad's apparent slowness and frustration vs Jennings. He is a 40 year old father now.

After watching several of Fury's fights, for example the Cunningham one, I have no doubt Vlad knocks this big oaf out.

Do you honestly think Fury will approach the Wlad fight with the same attitude that he went in with against USS?

If Fury went up against Wlad with the same attitude he showed against Cunnungham I also have no doubt that he get would get KO'd, and it wouldn't take long to happen.

But his uncle Peter wasn't with him for the Cunningham fight and Tyson got over-confident, forgot about the game plan, and left himself open.

With Peter Fury in his corner keeping him focused Tyson is a different fighter altogether. He proved in the 2nd Chisora fight that he can concentrate, stick to a plan, and be just as cautious as Wlad when necessary.

If the occasion doesn't get to him and he shows that same restraint and caution against Wlad he has a great chance of beating him.
