haymon and jay-z won't work with each other. ward has to go through kovalev if he wants to conquer 175 lbs - no shortcuts.

Froch is an inferior coward. But at least he knows that deep inside of himself. Froch yaps to the media, but behind the scenes he is gutless. The only way he steps in the ring with Ward again is if a lynch mob forces it. Froch is satisfied with the perception that he's better than Ward because he beat Groves twice.

I wouldn't call Golovkin a hypejob, he is a very good fighter but I agree that many of his fans are rabid and overrate him too much. I think from 160 to 175 the best 6 fighters are Golovkin, Ward, Andre Dirrell, Stevenson, Beterbiev and Kovalev, in not this exactorder. I think Ward is the best among them and I would be fine if next yearhe would fight any of these. I guess because the Hova-Haymon beef, Dirrell, Beterbiev and Stevenson are all excluded so let's say I want either Ward-Kovalev or Ward-Golovkin I think if Ward fightsat 172 next, the former is more likely.

I'm not sure of the issue here, Golovkin is willing to go to 168 for Ward, Froch and Chavez.

Even if Golovkin lost to Ward, he'd go right back to splitting heads at 160.

Froch offered Ward the fight, Ward turned it down because he didn't want to fight in Nottingham. His loss, that was a PPV fight.

Kovalev has virtually no opponents now, I would be delighted if Ward accepted a fight with him.

So much for the "Ward is the same size as GGG doe" talking point.

Well, that kills the Golovkin fight in the near future, and puts a lot more pressure on Ward to fight Kovalev.

If you look at their ring weights there's less difference between them than Ward's and Kovalev's ring weight so...
Golovkin was 173 pound in the ring against Rubio so he isn't that far from 168 or 172, especially from 168.

How much does Ward rehydrates to though? He looks like he is easily over 180 lbs.
