What has Froch done in the past 2 years? Beat George Groves twice? Give me a break.

If the fighter and representives feel like their contract is unfair it is their duty and obligation to take legal action to remedy the grievance. Dan Goosen would have been happy to have Ward work for him under a contract that Ward deemed unfair for his entire career because that's what promoters do, if allowed. So saying that it was Ward who initiated the litigation against Goosen makes no point what so ever because without him doing so his grievances would have never been addressed. It worked out for him because he is out of that contract and his career is back on track. But you're a Goosen-Tutor fan and a gossip girl so you're going to be against Ward regardless.
The court ruled in favour of Goossen time and time again. Ward should have been more careful with the contracts he signed.

Who signed the contract? Ward did. Who approved the contract for Ward to sign it? His representatives. Who is responsible if he is later no longer satisfied with the contract? Ward and his people. Who should be a man and abide by the LEGAL, BINDING contract that he signed and that gave him every possible advantage during the Super Six tournament that made him a star? WARD.

Sorry but I am a man of my word. I do not sign contracts or enter into agreements if I am not satisfied with them. And I do not break agreements or contracts or promises that I enter into because I suddenly turn into a greedy little diva who thinks he is above such legal matters.

Ward was responsible for his own problems. No one else. If you sign a contract you should make damn sure that it is not something you will be unhappy with down the road. If you do sign such a contract, you are an idiot and deserve to lose your shirt, your socks, your shoes, your house, your car and your damn dog too.

I don't think Ward or Froch really wants it.
Froch was beaten by Ward convincingly what is the point in a rematch?

Then Ward accuses Froch of being on holiday, when Ward himself has just taken the last two years off you couldn't make it up.

A lot can change in 4 years. Especially when one fighter, Ward, has been sitting on his ass for most of that time.

Shoulda coulda woulda... He signed the contract that he signed and later realized it was sham and took legal remedies to get out of it. He did exactly what he was supposed to do. It can just as easily be said that Dan Goosen should not have attempted to trap Ward in an unfair contract. In what reality is the rich and powerful promoter free of blame for manipulating a broke up and coming athlete into an unfair contract. Do you really believe that any contract that someone signs is legal and binding? Can I sign a contract to allow you to shoot me in the head. Come on man. Use some common sense.

No dude. You're an idiot if you really believe that this is how the law works. And your sense of honor that seems to only benefit the people with the resources and attorneys to draft up contracts for others to sign is quite backward. So you're telling me that it's 100% Ward's responsibility to enter into a fair agreement and the promoter Dan Goosen is free to manipulate the situation to his advantage as long as Ward doesn't notice. That's the biggest crock of non sense I've ever heard. In your imaginary world where contractual law and your weird individual honor code coexist there wouldn't be any need for courts and judges. Just sign the contract and no matter what is written in the contract it's just automatically binding cause you're a man of your word. I think you get your ideas about the law from GI Joe or Leave it to Beaver. Definitely not from reality.
