I've been reading through this and trying not to say anything but no matter what you say, someone will get offended. Where he specifically said this about Adonis and not all black people, it was a personal dig at a guy who DOES look like a monkey. If he looked like a dog and said it he wouldn't be racist. If he looked like a bird and called him on it, it wouldn't be racist.

Haymon ain't taking over ****. Hopefullly he'll help boxing by making more fights viewable every year (quality fights) so us REAL fans can enjoy. As long as he contributes to boxing - makes it better - all more power to him.

But he won't "take over" - way too many powerful promoters with money and infljence like Top Rank, ad Golden Boy.

The amount of European boxers taking it to the top is growing more, and more. Haymon will prolly end up filling a niche for black fans like you where you can watch black boxers "dominate" against lesser opposition.

Not so much to do with race. Don King was a black man in power and I hate his guts. With Haymon I see a guy who puts the fighters needs first because of what he experienced with his brother. We have a guy at the top that can understand the situations these fighters are in and make sure they are taken care of financially and health wise. I think Haymons background has a lot to do with his attitude towards fighters.

And that was a cute comment about "black fighters beating lesser opposition". Especially considering that Haymon has Maidana. Khan, Santa Cruz, Beterbeiev and other non black fighters in his stable. Your posts in this thread demonstrate your ignorance but as a self proclaimed real boxing fan I thought you would at least know these facts. That post speaks volumes about your actual knowledge of the sport.

Just because there's a history of white people saying all black people look like monkeys (which they don't) is complete BS when someone is calling ONE person that actually looks like monkey, a monkey. It's an excuse and people are looking for it. There is a majority of black people who don't look for this and let it roll off their backs yet there are always a few who need to make it into something and turn it into "you hate all blacks"

When Broner made the Mexican comment, I purposely did not comment on the subject because I am not Mexican. Who am I to measure how offensive his comments were?
