Not being a signatory to the contract means that Top Rank wouldn't have control of decisions during the fight, including in-arena production, video content and music.

"They don't want us to have any say," Arum said. "So whether they came up with the deal between Mayweather and MGM before or after our agreement, they've committed fraud either way. That's what we're enmeshed in."

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, disagreed with Arum's characterization of the original deal.

"The bottom line is that Bob isn't willing to live with the agreement signed a couple months ago, which doesn't allow him to be in control," Ellerbe said. "The only conspiracy, in my opinion, exists with him trying to conspire with his lawyers to change the terms of the agreement. I assure you that nothing underhanded is going on and the reference to this back alley stuff is ridiculous."

The only hint to the actual term sheet was posted on Manny Pacquiao's Facebook page on the day it was signed in February. Pacquiao posted the first page of the term sheet before deleting it, but not before it was screengrabbed.

While the page of the term sheet does say that Mayweather and Top Rank will "jointly own and promote the event," it also names Mayweather as lead promoter and "sole negotiator" of the deal with MGM.
    That screenshot killed his argument

TMT can be the sole negotiator and lead promoter and Top Rank can still be signatories to the contract.

Sounds like Floyd is getting cold feet.

Floyd going thrown the right, and hold, then wait for Bayless to reset.

How many times do you think Floyd should be able to initiate holds without getting a point deducted?

I've seen people criticize Smoger for playing favorites and the same thing goes for Weeks. Every ref gets criticized for something. None of them are perfect.

What referee consistently gives out hard warnings for constant holding. Most give the bs warning. It's rare that a ref takes a point.

Smoger isn't a good ref. What was the fight Kirkland was in last year when beat Tapia to a pulp

Smoger endangered his life and well being, he done this in a few fight.

I like how Reiss handled Ward's last fight.

Lets face it Bayless doesn't have the balls to deduct points of Floyd and Floyd knows it.

I don't know how you can criticize Weeks, he not been perfect in every fight, but he is a damn fine ref.

Has nothing to do with Floyd getting cold feet it's arum wanting more say so in the production arena music and such he doesn't have no control over none of those things his signature is needed to finally release tickets that's all TMT and MGM have the input on all those this is arum just holding out to try and get some type of power in things it's stated in first paragraph and then last talking about the picture manny put on his Facebook page before taking down

Let him have control over the music he want for his fighter. Why are TMT preventing that, why even argue for that in the contract.

Maybe he is suggesting he is open to corruption
