Bayless has never been unfair to Manny. He's a ref that has knowledge of both guys. He's as good a referee for this fight as there is. You just need excuses in case your guy loses.
Apart from the time he called it a knockdown against Mosley when it was a push.

Bayless can be OK, but he is not a strong ref, Floyd will be allowed to cheat, hold and spoil the fight.

I don't want this, it will spoil the event as a contest and as a spectacle

Only an idiot would. You would wouldn't you Johnny
But if Bayless were the crook that you claim he is, surely Uncle Bob would have made certain he wasn't an option to start with.

Why on earth would he have never had a problem with him before, but all of a sudden he does now?

Newsflash, dummy, it's because he doesn't have a problem with it. And you're just desperately fishing for excuses.

Yeah, and he's gotta be the first ref to ever mistake a push or a slip for a knockdown. That's just unheard of. Clearly he was trying to be corrupt. I'm surprised he didn't 1, 2...skip a few, 10" count Manny right then and there.

I'll bet Floyd paid him to call that knockdown.

They are co-promoting it, TMT is the lead promoter, but that is it. Bob is not about to get done over.

What is wrong with both of them taking 25% each.

            Not corrupt, just incompetent.

And it is more to do with his style of and his lack of enforcement of the laws.

The only fight I though Bayless could be corrupt in was Mayweather vs Maidana II.

He was a disgusting display of reffing.

Bayless is one of the best in the business. Every ref gets scrutinized at some point. I've seen people complain about Weeks, Bayless and Smoger but they're very good refs. Some people would've complained no matter what ref was chosen.

Like I just said, he was only corrupt or very incompetent in Mayweather vs Maidana.

Maybe he wasn't brave enough to take points of Floyd, maybe he felt Haymon could black ball him if he did.

Weeks is a much stronger character.

bro that's not why he holding up signing all that's agreed upon

Not being a signatory to the contract means that Top Rank wouldn't have control of decisions during the fight, including in-arena production, video content and music.

"They don't want us to have any say," Arum said. "So whether they came up with the deal between Mayweather and MGM before or after our agreement, they've committed fraud either way. That's what we're enmeshed in."

Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, disagreed with Arum's characterization of the original deal.

"The bottom line is that Bob isn't willing to live with the agreement signed a couple months ago, which doesn't allow him to be in control," Ellerbe said. "The only conspiracy, in my opinion, exists with him trying to conspire with his lawyers to change the terms of the agreement. I assure you that nothing underhanded is going on and the reference to this back alley stuff is ridiculous."

The only hint to the actual term sheet was posted on Manny Pacquiao's Facebook page on the day it was signed in February. Pacquiao posted the first page of the term sheet before deleting it, but not before it was screengrabbed.

While the page of the term sheet does say that Mayweather and Top Rank will "jointly own and promote the event," it also names Mayweather as lead promoter and "sole negotiator" of the deal with MGM.
                  That screenshot killed his argument

Check the posts going back months. Bayless was the one ref fans feared, because his inability to dish out hard warnings for constant holding.

Doesn't let fighters fight on the inside as well.

This fight doesn't need the constant holding that Floyd did in second maidana fight manny not going stay in pocket long enough to get tied up he jumps in throws combo and jumps out Floyd going want to control it from distance to potshot manny while he trying work his way in maidana wasn't fast enough to work his way in and then get out
