I was thinking about going too, I wonder how much they will charge for ringside, considering the fact that he's not up against anybody special

Better explain why Bute ducked Super Six fighting bums off the streets instead.

Don't put that punching bag Bute in the same sentence along with the greatest super middleweight of all time.

Andre exposed all those hypejob fakes. Nothing to prove anymore.

ward ducked bute and stevenson. that's a fact. ward isn't some take on all comers type of guy.
Stop making **** up, you know Ward broke his hand after the Froch fight and wasn't physically able to fight Bute! Why do you have to be dishonest to make your point?

1 SMW in the world against the #2 SMW in his family. That's cool though, this is on BET, so no problem with me
The bold is hilarious and probaly true, Ward better step it up after this tune-up. I wonder how he'll feel about HBO from here on out?

Ward said he wouldn't fight Bute until he "proved himself" regardless of whether he hurt his hand or not.

I don't recall Ward saying he wouldn't ever fight Bute, he said he'd wait until his hand healed then determine what the best options were when he returned. I believe Ward's point was that most of the top contenders in the division had just got done with the Super Six. Bute didn't compete in the Super Six so Ward felt like Bute hadn't done anything to deserve a shot at the title aside from being popular in Canada.

Bute lost his next fight to Froch anyway which kinda proved what Ward said all along....

The injury wasn't the excuse not to fight Bute though. Ward's reasoning was that Bute hadn't proved himself which was very shoddy and questionable. Also strange cos neither had he when Kessler gave him a shot in his own home town of Oakland.

That was one of many poor career decisions by Ward because it was one of the biggest fights in boxing at the time and that's why now Carl Froch is a star and he's a forgotten man despite being better than Froch.

ok well its ward that ducked the hyejob so doens't that make him look even worse for ducking a hypejob and for a career high payday no less? isn't that exactly what boxers are looking for? big fights that are also easy? yet ward didn't think it was easy. bute hadn't proven himself according to ward...then he goes and tries to fight sartison lol

he said bute had to prove himself then tried to fight sartison. he also said stevenson hadn't earned a fight with him after stevenson ko'd dawson. then ward fought rodriguez. notice a pattern? the guys who are good or at least thought to be good have to prove themselves a billion times over but the guys ward actually fights do not. this is commonly known as ducking.

Because Smith is a live opponent who shows up to fight, I can forgive this one. Andre has had like, 1 fight in 3 years so only haters are going to btch about him not facing a top guy. A tune-up is expected and this is a really fun tune up.
After this, he'll be back to destroying your favorite fighters, don't worry about that.

sure if your favorite fighter is an unknown tomato can but how many people have unknown tomato cans as their favorite fighters?
