Although Froch seems reluctant to fight guys who can box such as DeGale, Dirrell rematch and the notion of fighting GGG, I really think he should call GGG's bluff, I don't believe the Kazakh's handlers want it as clearly as Froch doesn't want the Ward rematch. As GGG and his handlers were told by Ward stop using my name unless you really want it, I believe they'd be mute on Froch too now. I mean I haven't heard GGG calling for the main man at SM for nearly two years now, Ward has only been inactive 17 months, so they obviously heeded his warning.

You have to take into account that Froch is 37/38 years old now and has been in a lot of wars. Pressure fighters like him, who take punches to land them, don't usually stay at the top as long as he has.

I think he should retire now and go out satisfied and happy, like he said, rather than risk getting KO'd by GGG or messed around and made to look look old and slow by Ward.

So Abel has put it out there in a youtube interview, I'd like to hear it from GGG after the Monroe fight. GGG really has to quit the MW divison for a challenge. I think fans will be turned off in the long run unless he does, I know he wants the money fights Alvarez, Cotto etc and I would prefer to see him fight those fights maybe not Cotto as I am not a sadist. But those fights are not happening any time soon, GGG could call for Froch or Ward right after Monroe but I don't see it happening, even Quiilin at 168 or catchweight, just a single competitive fight would be nice.

Froch if made the right offer would fight him, no doubts but unfortunately GGG hasn't the fan base to command the numbers these guys want, so he's the one who's gonna need an from the likes of Jay Z or Hearn, clearly he won't get what he wants so he will stick at 160 hoping for the Cotto catchweight/mandatory.
