You all have to understand, the same people that think Floyd should acquiesce to the legends and say that they are better than him are the same type of people that have sex with a woman and then think that another man hit it better. Floyd beat mostly over the hill and subpar guys. But SRR (and even more so) Ali and SRL beat great fighters at their peak.

That's the difference. But Floyd IS great, and has the right to say so more than anyone in his generation. He just lives in a time with no Hearns, Benitez, Duran, et al.
