Damn, man. In the very video that you posted like 4 posts back, Floyd says "yep, I'm better than Ali"

.....LONG before Ali ever "picked" Pacquiao to win.

So how is he salty about something that hadn't happened yet?

Floyd knows how to make these grown ups cry. He's the best ever at THAT.

Of course he is NOT but i speak from a FANS PROSPECTIVE and not a BOXERS PROSPECTIVE!

From a Boxers prospective if you gave your entire life to this sport...why the *** would your goal be to settle for #2 or #3? That is what separate Good From Great IMO, some athletes have that drive to get to the very top while most are OK with being #2 or #3. It is hard to achieve greatness with that "Accepting Not Being The Best Mentality"

His ERA did not have enough talent for me to consider him "Better Than Ali". A Win over Pacquiao does NOTHING for his legacy IMO, maybe solidify him as Top 20 all time I guess?

His ERA did not produce enough talent for him to compete against which is not his fault but that is what happened. I struggle to put Mayweather up with or ahead of Ray Leonard to be honest because again Ray was in a ERA that had a lot of talent in and around his Division and he fought them.

Even with the fighters who Mayweather is accused of Ducking, neither of them turned out to be All Time Greats or anything to remember so not even fighting and beating them would have helped.

Floyd needs to man up and quit crying about Ali's pick and focus on his opponent.

            Manny's coming for that ass!!!

Don't expect an answer when you come back with facts Some people here create their own scenarios and try to disguise them as facts.

I remember Mayweather saying this as far back as the Shane Mosley fight.

That statement could have been very relevant if Floyd had fought the biggest threats of his era. But the truth is, he hasn't and is fighting Manny 5 years too late. He should have fought Manny right after he stopped Cotto. That was Manny at his best. He should have fought Mosley and De La Hoya a few years earlier. He should have fought Margarito and Paul Williams when they were dominating the welterweight division. What about Kosta Tyzu??? We can only speculate on those fights because Floyd never fought them when it truly meant something. Floyd is a great fighter, but to say you are better than legends means nothing if your resume doesn't back it up! Ali fought every relevant heavyweight there was in his era!!! You can't compare his resume to a fighter who retired to avoid the best at 147 at the time, and now decides to fight the other top guy of his era 5 years too late. The argument is always WHY Floyd didn't fight certain guys and those arguments may be legit. But that's an argument we don't have to have with Ali because he fought them all!

Whats the big deal? Hes said this for years. And for years, everyone knows its simply not true. I have no problems with the guy thinking hes the best. Thats a great mental approach to it so long as you put in the work. Floyd does, and he can call himself the best fighter to ever live. But it doesn't mean its true. Just makes him look like an idiot because we all know hes not.

He can say whatever he wants. The whole world knows that's a lie. He will never even be close to being the greatest.
